We make money by helping you experience all that Ohio craft beer has to offer, not by charging you for shipping more than our actual shipping costs. Although shipping beer is both more complex and expensive than shipping t-shirts, we’re doing our best to make it affordable, convenient and easy to understand.
We recommend that you use your work shipping address. Each delivery requires an adult signature, and we want to make sure your beer gets to you as efficiently as possible.
When will I get my beer?
All beer orders are processed 1-3 days within receiving your order. You will receive an email with a tracking number upon beer being shipped so you may track your order via UPS and schedule a hold at alternative retail location (UPS Access Point) if more convenient for you.
I was not home to sign for my box, and it is not here. How can I get my box?
We strongly recommend that you have your beer shipped to a daytime or work address, as the delivery requires an adult signature, but sometimes that is not possible so we understand and will work to make it as easy as possible to get your beer to you.
Please track your package using the UPS app and re-route to a UPS Access Point nearest you (your local UPS Store, CVS, Micahel's, AutoZone and other retail locations) if you will not be able to sign and accept the package.
This is a great service provided by UPS that is totally free! Your beer will be held for 5 days at this location, and you may stop in and pick up your beer at your convenience. You must request to re-route a package to a holding location by the night before your scheduled delivery.
Upon unsuccessful delivery, UPS will attempt a second delivery. If again unsuccessful, UPS will hold your beer for 5 days at your local UPS Ship Center before returning it to Rivalry Brews. You may pick up your beer there during this time.
If your box is returned to us, you can either have it shipped again at a new shipping charge; or, local customers can also pick it up at the Rivalry Brews offices at no charge, just email us at rivalrybrews.com to schedule a pick up.
Due to maintaining beer quality, returned boxes will be held for no longer than 30 days before being discarded and will not be subject to a refund
Why do you need my phone number?
We and our shipping partners may need to contact you when delivering your beer box. They may call you to ensure your beer is received and signed for by an adult. As your beer cannot be left at your door unattended. We use email to contact you with most questions, but occasionally we may call you if we need to chat with you. We do not share your phone number with anyone other then our shipping partners for the reasons mentioned above.
By placing an order, the Buyer warrants that he/she is at least 21 years of age, and that he/she will be responsible for the shipment being received by a person at least 21 years of age. All goods must be paid for in full prior to delivery. All goods are sold in Ohio and the title is passed to the buyer at the time of the sale. All shipping costs, including insurance, are to be paid by the Buyer. Rivalry Brews makes no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import beverages containing alcohol. By placing an order, you authorize Rivalry Brews to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you. The Buyer is reminded that various states impose limitations on the quantity of alcoholic beverages, which may be purchased and brought into their jurisdiction without requiring the purchaser, the seller or the shipper to possess certain licenses or permits. Rivalry Brews, as a condition of sale, assumes no obligation and bears no responsibility whatsoever for applying for or obtaining any such permits or licenses. Therefore, the Buyer is strongly advised to investigate such limitations and to determine the manner in which alcoholic beverages may lawfully be brought. The Buyer is responsible for all applicable excise, use and sales taxes due their state related to the purchase of any taxable goods.
In accordance with Ohio law, all orders are reviewed, accepted and fulfilled by a licensed retail entity.
