Starting the list of local Akron favorites is Lock 15 Brewing, a brewery and brewpub housed within the former home of Swinehart Tire and Rubber Company – established in 1904. Founders Joe Karpinski and Colin Cook pay tribute to the city’s historical past in both the bar and restaurant interior designs. It’s Swinehart Stout – Imperial Coffee is brewed using honey, and roasted barley notes with subtle orange and vanilla undertones. This signature craft ale touts an 11% ABV.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Barberton, this craft brand lives its mission – “Making Beer Make A Difference”.
